Coffee Brewing Guide

 
  • - V60 dripper
    - V60 paper filter
    - Coffee server
    - Digital scale
    - Gooseneck kettle
    - Coffee Beans: 15gr
    - Mineral water: ± 350gr
    (225gr to brew, 125gr to rinse and preheat)

  • Heat up your mineral water to 92 - 94℃

    Grind your coffee to medium coarse
    *too lazy to grind? Kindly ask our barista to grind your coffee before purchase.

    Put your V60 dripper w/ the paper filter on top of your coffee server. Rinse the paper w/ hot water to wash away the papery taste.

    Clear out your server from the rinsed water.

    Put your ground coffee into the dripper. Set your timer & scale ready.

    Take a deep breath, go into zen mode.

    Now start to pour the hot water into your coffee for blooming process. Pour it clockwise for 30gr. Wait for 30s after you finished pouring. *Make sure all the coffee ground are wet.

    Continue the 2nd pour. Pour slowly w/ clockwise rotation until 180gr.

    Wait until the coffee ground is almost dried before you start the 3rd pour.

    Pour slowly w/ clockwise rotation until 225gr.

    Wait until the ground is completely dried, then remove the dripper.

    The brew should be completed between 2m15s - 2m45s.

    Preheat your drinking glass or cup by rinsing it w/ hot water to ensure your coffee temp doesn't drop too much.

    - Any kind of kettle
    - Coffee Beans: 20gr
    - Mineral water: ± 450gr
    (320gr to brew, 130gr to rinse and preheat).

  • Heat up your mineral water to 92℃ or until boiling.

    Grind your coffee to medium grind size.
    *too lazy to grind? Kindly ask our barista to grind your coffee before purchase.

    Put your coffee into the French Press. Then, pour 320ml of hot water.

    Leave the coffee for 4 minutes. Munch on something as you wait the coffee get extracted properly.

    Stir the coffee crust, remove the foam and coffee bits from the surface.
    *this step is not needed if you like the coffee like your old man.

    Put the plunger into the French Press and press until JUST A BIT underneath the surface. *press until you can't for the same reason as mentioned in the previous step.

    Preheat your drinking glass or cup by rinsing it w/ hot water to ensure your coffee temp doesn't drop too much.

    At last, pour your coffee gently into the server to enjoy.

    - Aeropress Paper Filter
    - Coffee server
    - Digital scale
    - Any kind of kettle
    - Coffee Beans: 15gr
    - Mineral water: ± 350gr
    (210gr to brew, 140gr to rinse and preheat)

  • Heat up your mineral water to 95-96℃.

    Put the paper filter into the Aeropress basket and rinse it w/ hot water.

    Grind 15gr of coffee to medium-fine. Then, put 'em into the Aeropress.*too lazy to grind? Kindly ask our barista to grind your coffee before purchase.

    Preheat your coffee server, then place your Aeropress on top. *Make sure your coffee server is sturdy and won't break under pressure.

    Pour 210gr of water, stir 3 times back and forth.

    Place the plunger on the Aeropress and let it steep for 60s. Let the magic do the works.

    Take the plunger off, stir again for 3 times back and forth, put it back again.

    Now press!! Using your own body weight - nice, gently, and slowly.

    Preheat your drinking glass or cup by rinsing it w/ hot water to ensure your coffee temp doesn't drop too much.

    At last, pour your coffee gently into the server to enjoy.
